Love the atmosphere and the crab sandwich with huge onion rings is excellent. SO much that I swear I'll try something else but I just can't! Love everything accept wish open later.

Lindy's Family Restaurant has always been a treasure 2 my family, especially w/my Mom & I. We always liked 2 go there 4 lunch or dinner & so it carries on w/me! Love 2 my Mom in Heaven & Love 2 Lindy's!

The food was amazing! The service was great! The food was all home cooked! We had roast beef(real) and Meatloaf sandwiches with mashed potatoes and gravy! The portions were huge! And the price was also amazing! Highly recommended! It's like stepping back in time. :)

We went on a Cumberland train ride and talked to the conductor of the train. We told him we were going to get something to eat after the ride. He recommended Lindy’s. He told us to let them know that the “Conductor” recommended the place. We are from the city so I was like stepping back in time to an old fashioned diner. The food was homemade ,tasty and very well priced.

Great food at a great price. I had the Fish and Chips special and it was delicious. The butterscotch pie was also great. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a home cooked style meal that won't burn a hole through your wallet.

I love Lindy's! It reminds me of the diners from the 60's I went to as a kid. It's the closest thing to my mom's home cooking. So when I don't feel like cooking, I can jump in the car & be there in a few minutes. They close at 730 pm, so if you like late meals, don't show up here. The portions are perfect. Not too much, but enough to make me comfortably full. Finally, the prices are great, too. I can eat here a few times a week if I want! Oh, they also have carry out. Check it out!

I love this restaurant. It's a nice, family sort of restaurant that always offers a pleasant experience. I've never had a bad meal here. The prices are great for the portion sizes too! Definitely recommend!

Came here because of the reviews and I was not disappointed! The food was absolutely delicious at a very reasonable price. We unknowingly lucked out by coming on a Saturday. Kids 12 and under get a free meal with the purchase of one dinner... and it's good for up to two kids! I got the meatloaf and it far exceeded my expectations!!! Needless to say, this is a new favorite

We are from out of town and found the place using Google. Read it's reviews, based off that we figured we'd give it a try. Glad we did, from the outside it looks as though you're entering someone's house. Don't let that scare you. It was awesome inside. That old diner feel was all around you. The meals the 4 of us ordered were great! And the prices we also great. Don't pass this one up if you're in town!

Lindy's is awesome. It's small, dated and reminds you of a diner atmosphere. The menu had a great selection. The staff was friendly and the food tasted great. I had the club sandwich and fries with a bowl of Lindy's homemade chili. Amazing. The club was good and the fries were cooked to perfection. The chili had great flavor and tasted wonderful. Lindy's is a hidden gem in Cumberland. You definitely need to go check them out.

The food is decent enough, but not mind blowing. I've had better, I've had worse. Last time I was there, the special was baby back ribs so I gave them a shot. I wasn't particularly impressed. The open face sandwiches are pretty good, though. What you can't beat is the price. Everything is super cheap.
